NETBALL PRE-SEASON

Netball preseason will be starting on Wednesday the 19th of February and we welcome all new and returning players to join. We're also very excited to announce our netball coaches for the 2020 season. We cannot wait for another fantastic and successful year on the court.

2020 FIXTURE

The final fixture of the 2020 season has been released. The season will start after the Easter Long weekend on the 18th of April and the Grand Final to be played on the 12th of September. Junior football fixture is yet to be announced.

As the new year sets in so does our excitement levels for round 1 to begin. Simon Hatherall our senior coach has set out a well constructed pre-season plan and it will start up again on Monday the 27th of January 6pm. To access the full pre season schedule follow the link. Pre-Season Program

SOCIAL COMMITTEE 

The social committee for season 2020 are on the hunt for some new helpers. If you think you'd be interested in organising a few events this year or don't mind just helping out, get in contact with Jack Kennedy or Nikolina Vrankovic. Contact details can be found in the Contact Us page. 

NEW FACES TO GDFNC

With the year already in full swing there are a few new faces (and a few club legends returning) that have joined our club and should be welcomed with open arms. If you see them around the town make sure you say g'day and make them feel at home. 

ASH CARUANA 

Ash has also moved to the area with his wife and joins his brother Nathan at the rams. Ash has been a big part of Branxholme Wallacedale and recently Hawkesdale Macarthur. With his fitness and speed you'll most likely see Ash dashing off a half back / wing. 

HENRY BARR

Henry is a young and exciting new recruit who has moved to Glenthompson. Coming from the Central Murray League his youth, fitness, pace and hardness will be proven as a flanker / on baller. 

JUNIOR NETBALL 

Mininera and District Netball teams Squad tryouts. This year the Ballarat Junior Tournament is Sunday 19th of April.
Tryouts will be held at Lake Bolac Netball Courts on Sunday 15th & 22nd of March.
